Solidarity Corps

CWP have been awarded a grant to host 2 full time volunteers from Spain under the Erasmus Plus Solidarity Corp (formerly EVS) programme. Solidarity Corp is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission and gives young people in Europe the chance to volunteer abroad. It enables young people aged 18 to 30 years to live up to 12 months in another country while working in a non-profit organisation.

Solidarity Corp aims to improve young people’s skills whilst encountering different cultures, meeting people from across the world and learning a new language whilst abroad. The 2 new volunteers (yet to be selected due to the CV19 Pandemic) will support CWP staff working with learners and will also develop their own unique community projects.
